The exhibition compares the gaze of William Klein (New York 1926-Paris 2022), acclaimed world-famous photographer, and that of Plinio De Martiis (Giulianova 1920 - Rome 2004), legendary Roman gallery owner, who as a young man embraced the profession of photographer with amazing results.
Jonas Mekas 100! - the international program of events that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the birth of the director and theorist of Lithuanian origin - arrives in Italy with the Images Are Real exhibition and a series of events curated by Francesco Urbano Ragazzi, a duo who accompanied Mekas in various projects art from Venice to New York, to Seoul, to Reykjavík.
